Ian
Ashley , Decor Coordinator
Unconstrained by the limits of mere eclecticism, Ian Ashley still
recalls the commandment that authorized her existence: "dissolve
all boundaries." In the 1980s in Los Angeles, she deployed the
"Ian Ashley Collection" of designer clothing on unsuspecting
rock stars, re-wiring their minds to fit her mission. Soon thereafter,
her evolving tribe merged sound-scapes with fashion shows and performance
art, turning musicians into designers and runway models into dancers
and mimes. Combining the social practices of cocktail parties with
Human Be-Ins, Ian used these settings to distribute Paleolithic power
objects (her own hand-made jewelry). In the 1990s, Ian came to San
Diego and infiltrated Lloyd Ruocco's House of the Future. As both
a maker of her own work and a promoter of others, Ian is rumored to
use her house/art studio as a time machine, traveling to ancient sites
to salvage forgotten patterns and forms. She holds positions on the
boards of Sushi Performance & Visual Art as well as The Synergy
Art Foundation where she supervises the building of the arks that
will carry the artists safely back to the Ocean of the Imagination. |

Ana
Pailles
I believe that fashion comes within one's personality. How you wear
your clothes, how you mix and match, the color pallets you choose
to show off are all representations of your own fashion sense. Everyone
is born with their own idea and own creative style intuition. The
Pink Party event is the first time I will be able to publically
represent fashion. Aside from it being an extravagant opportunity,
I am honored to represent the extravagant taste, passion, and love
for fashion along side incredible designers, artists, and models.
Just being 21 years old, I aspire to grow in this idnustry and only
expand my knowledge and love for what we all belong to. Fashion.
Not only is the Pink Party an approach to spread glamour, but as
well as a foot inside the doors of mass awareness of breast cancer.
Breast cancer has affected my life in many ways than one. Family
members very close to my heart, have had to buckle up for the frightening
journey of fighting off cancer. Fortunately, I have not lost any
family due to it. And for that, I feel empowered to become apart
of the team to keep fighting for a cure and encourage others to
also support those affected by it. The Pink Party is an excellent
way of coming out and doing so in a unique, modern, and spontaneous
way!

realized she must share the message her godmother shared with her.
Simply put "You young women need to take care of yourself and
not worry so much." Taking her words to heart, Anjela proudly
supports the efforts of The Pink Party and lives by the personal mantra
"LIVE YOUR PASSION : BE PRESENT" |
